🇵🇹 The Ramos Pinto House 是葡萄牙杜羅上游區 (Douro Superior) 最著名的酒莊之一，當然以其波爾圖 (Porto) 而聞名，但這款靜態葡萄酒非常精緻。

【📝Brief intro】
🇵🇹 The Ramos Pinto House, one of the most prominent in the Douro Superior, is of course extremely famous for its Portos but this still wine is exquisite.
The grapes come from the best plots of the estates Quinta de Ervamoira and Quinta dos Bons Ares, both located in the municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa. Ervamoira is a big estate, with 150 hectares of vines, soils are schistous and very poor. The altitude varies from 110–340 m. Bons Ares has granite soils and an altitude of 600m above sea level. Those conditions give the grapes structure, acidity and perfect aromatic potential.
The grapes were harvested and carefully sorted by hand, transported to the winery into small boxes.
Vinification & Maturation: The grapes were done in granite lagares, while the Bons Ares grapes were vinified in wood and in concrete vats, with skin maceration. Fermentation in vats of 6000 liters and 10000-liter capacity, aged for 16 months in a mixture of new one- and two-year-old barrels.

Deep ruby with purple hints.
【👃Nose】
Pronounced aromas of mulberry, black plum, black, cherry, blackcurrant, wild berries, violet, orange blossom, orange marmalade, tangerine, spices, cinnamon, vanilla, tobacco, earth/graphite. Magnificent!
【👅Palate】
Pronounced aromas similar to the nose. Full body, medium acidity, medium tannin, and high alcohol. Mouthfeel is full-bodied, powerful, and very complex with plenty of fruity and spicy aromas on the palate, fine tannins, a soft texture, and crispy acidity, it feels very fresh, elegant and displays some minerality. It ends in a long finish. Delicious!
【🍷 Conclusion】
Amazing wine from Douro, a lot of finesse, elegance, and complexity with just enough power, perfectly in balance, very pleasant to drink.
