【📝概述】

【📝Brief intro】
🇿🇦 The beginning of the Diemersdal Estate dates back to 1698 when Simon van der Stel, the first Dutch governor of the Cape Colony and founder of the Stellenbosch estate, donated Farmland vineyards to Hendrik Sneewind. After the latter's death, Captain Diemer (hence the name of the estate) married his widow.
In 1885, the Louws family took over and the sixth generation is now in charge of the estate. The Diemersdal Estate is located in the northeast of Cape Town and its vineyards are set on the cool slopes of 'Dorstberg' mountain, with the Table Mountain in the background. The red granite and clay soils do not need irrigation as the nearby ocean and regular nighttime mists provide the much-needed cooling after the daily heat.
Vinification & Maturation: Grapes come from vines and half of them were planted 44 years ago, the other half 24 years ago. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 26 and 28 ° C. Then, the cuvée was aged for sixteen months in wooden barrels, 60% of which were in French oak.

Medium ruby.
【👃Nose】
Pronounced aromas of red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, plum, mulberry, blueberry, forest fruits, wild berries, cinnamon, clove, smoke, cedar, vanilla, chocolate, and toast.
【👅Palate】
Pronounced aromas similar to the nose. Medium tannin, high alcohol, medium acidity, full-body. Mouthfeel is very rich, full-bodied with a creamy texture, smooth tannin, and a lot of complex and intense ripe red and black fruits combined with delicate well-integrated oak notes. A long coarse and spicy finish. Very tasty.
【🍷 Conclusion】
Absolutely delicious Pinotage, It’s juicy, lively, very classy, with acidulous fruitiness, the perfect level of spices and oak, rich and dense on the palate, another must drink.
