與鼻子相似的明顯香氣,成熟的黑色水果、香料和一些花香的一級香氣;來自橡木陳釀的二級香氣(丁香、雪松…)以及些許第三級香氣(皮革、煙草…)的開端。
乾式 (Dry)、中等偏高酸度、高酒精度、高單寧、飽滿酒體。 香氣複雜而明顯,酒精很好地融合與其他元素在一起,甚至感覺不到強勁酒精感;單寧相當柔軟,酸度令人耳目一新,口感 Powerful,尾韻以悠長的辛辣、皮革味收尾。
【🍷簡單結論】
來自 Umbria 的上等紅葡萄酒,很乾 (Dry)、結構良好、強勁,對我來說有種貴族和優雅感,應該可以陳釀的很美,非常適合搭配一些牛排餐點。
【📝Brief intro】
🇮🇹 The Lunelli family, third generation winemakers at Ferrari Trento DOC, made their dream come true by creating in the 1980’s the Tenute Lunelli comprised of three wine estates located in three different regions of Italy. For Tenuta Castelbuono, they have chosen the rolling hills of Perugia to craft their wines made with Sagrantino, an indigenous grape of Umbria renown for its power and capacity to age. The grapes which are organic come from clay-silt soils which are well-structured and resistant to summer drought.
Vinification: Grape were hand harvested with careful selection, followed by a cold pre-maceration at around 11°C for 30 hours at the winery. Fermentation was carried out at a temperature between 25-27°C in wooden vats. The maceration lasted between 15-20 days. The wine was aged for 24 months in large oak casks, followed by a minimum of 12 months in bottle.

Deep ruby.
【👃Nose】
Pronounced aromas of jammy blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, plum, dried fig, tar, licorice, dried rose, cloves, cedar, chocolate, tobacco and earth.
【👅Palate】
Pronounced aromas similar to the nose, with primary aromas of ripe black fruits, spices and some floral notes, secondary aromas from oak aging (cloves, cedar…) along with a beginning of tertiary aromas (leather, tobacco…). Dry, medium+ acidity, high alcohol, high tannins, full body. Aromas are complex and pronounced, alcohol is well-integrated and can’t be felt, tannins are quite soft, acidity is refreshing, the mouthfeel is powerful and ends in a long spicy/leathery finish.
【🍷 Conclusion】
Superb wine from Umbria, it’s really dry, well-structured, robust, it feels quite aristocratic and elegant to me, should age beautifully, to be paired with some steak.
