深紅寶石色。

【👃嗅覺香氣】

成熟黑色水果(黑醋栗、黑櫻桃、黑李子…)、甘草、丁香、香草、煙草、焦炭和煙熏的香氣。

【👅味覺品嘗】

明顯的香氣類似於鼻子,在強烈的深色水果香氣和強烈的辛辣以及橡木味之間取得了良好的平衡。 中等單寧,中等偏高的酸度,高酒精度,酒體飽滿。

酒的開頭非常圓潤,單寧柔順,質地柔軟,酸度適中,最後為我們帶來了香料味中但充滿著礦物味的持久尾韻。 整體口感豐富、柔軟、絲滑且溫暖。 感覺真的很好!!!

【🍷簡單結論】

斗羅河另一款美好的葡萄酒。 葡萄酒還很年輕(2018 年),但感覺已經很平衡,結構完美,香氣複雜宜人了;如果在酒窖中放置幾年,肯定會變得更美味。這款酒已經很棒了,所以我無法想像他們的 PS Aalto 是什麼味道。希望有一天我能夠試試看!此葡萄酒需要醒酒來充分表達自己的特色。

【📝Brief intro】

🇪🇸 Such a good wine!!!

Alto is the project of Mariano García - who was for 30 years the technical and oenological director of the famous Vega Sicilia - and Javier Zaccagnini - who for 6 years as Director of the Regulatory Council of the DO Ribera del Duero.

You already know their wine will be good! Grapes come from 40 to 80 years old vines, from nine different villages in the province of Burgos and Valladolid. Harvest carried out by hand and grapes are transported in small crates with very strict selection at the winery.

Maturation: 16 months in new and semi-new French and American oak barrels.

【🍇Grapes & ABV】

100% Tinto fino (Tempranillo), 14% ABV.

【👀To the eye】

Deep ruby.

【👃Nose】

Pronounced aromas of ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry, black plum…), liquorice, cloves, vanilla, tobacco, charred wood and smoke.

【👅Palate】

Pronounced aromas similar to the nose with a good balance between the intense dark fruits aromas and powerful spicy and oak taste. Medium tannin, Medium+ acidity, High alcohol, Full body.

Very round at the beginning, wine has smooth tannins, a velvety texture, a good acidity, and brings us to a long pleasant almost mineral finish on the spices. The overall palate is ample, supple, silky and warm. It feels really good!!!

【🍷 Conclusion】

Another incredible wine from Ribera del Duero. Wine is still young (2018) but feels like in balance, with a perfect structure, and complex and pleasant aromas, and will certainly improve if left in the cellar for a few years. It’s already delicious, so I cannot imagine what their PS Aalto tastes like. I hope I can try it one day! Wine needs decanting to fully express itself.
