【👅味覺品嘗】
明顯類似於鼻子的香氣，帶有許多白色水果、鹹味、礦物質的香氣。 中等酒精度，中等酒體，高酸度。 乾型且帶有許多複雜的果香，呈現出一些有趣的油質質地和一些“意料之外的”中等酒體，酒體非常礦物質，酸度清脆，以鹹味/柑橘味收尾。 喝起來非常愉快。

【📝Brief intro】
🇮🇹 Another wonderful wine from Donnafugata was recommended to me by Romano, Paris.
As usual with Donnagugata wines, their label is just magnificent. Carricante is a grape variety cultivated on the slopes of Etna volcano.
The production area is in Eastern Sicily, on the north side of Etna, between Randazzo and Castiglione di Sicilia, at an altitude from 700 to 750m above sea level. Hand harvesting of grapes into crates with careful selection of the grapes in the vineyard.
Vinification & Maturation: Fermentation in stainless steel, at a temperature of 14-16°C with aging partly in tanks and partly in French oak (second and third passage barriques) for 10 months and then at least 9 months in bottle before release.
【🍇Grapes & ABV】
100% Carricante, 12.5% ABV.
【👀To the eye】
Pale golden.
【👃Nose】
Pronounced aromas of citrus, lime, apple, melon, white peach, dried herbs, wet stones / flint, hint of smoke and blossom.
【👅Palate】
Pronounced aromas similar to the nose with a lot of white fruits and saline/mineral aromas. Medium alcohol, medium body, high acidity. Dry mouth with a lot of complex fruity aromas, displaying some interesting oily texture and some “not expected” medium body, wine is very mineral, has crispy acidity and is ending in a long saline/citrus finish. Very pleasant.
【🍷 Conclusion】
A mineral, fresh, elegant, fruity and earthy wine with a lot of personalities and some remarkable texture. Very surprising and a nice drink overall! Should pair perfectly with seafood or fish.
