【📝Brief intro】
🇨🇱 Pedro Parra who holds a Ph.D. in Agriculture studies from France, has decided after 15 years of experience as a wine consultant to make his own wines in his hometown, Conception. He is one of the promoters of a new trend in Chilean wines which focuses on reflecting more “the terroir”. He is working on ancient vineyards, made of granite soils with minimal intervention in an organic way.
This wine comes from four ancient vineyards located in the town of Guarilihue, in the Itata Valley. The old vines are 70 to 110 years old and are planted on slopes of granite soils. Traditional agriculture is practiced and the harvest is carried out manually at the optimum moment of ripening.
Vinification & Maturation: Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and without racking. Wine is aged in stainless steel and cement tanks for one year, then eight months elevage in the bottle.

100% Cinsault, 12.5% ABV.

Pale ruby.
【👃Nose】
Pronounced aromas of red fruits (raspberry, cherry, strawberry), flowers (rose, violet), pepper, coffee, and smoke. Very delicate!
【👅Palate】
Pronounced aromas similar to the nose, the palate is dominated by the red fruits and floral notes with a long peppery and mineral finish. Light body, light tannin, medium alcohol, high acidity.
The mouthfeel is very smooth, light and elegant, with smooth tannin, concentrated aromas of fruits and blossoms with a hint of spice and smoke, supported by a crispy and bright acidity and a superb mineral structure. Just wonderful.
【🍷 Conclusion】
An exquisite organic cinsault, delicate, mineral, fresh, elegant and fruity, full of personality, a true expression of its Chilean terroir. A must-drink!
