🇲🇩 來自摩爾多瓦 Fáutor 酒莊的美味葡萄酒，這是一個不太知名但其實歷史悠久的葡萄酒之國。

【📝Brief intro】
🇲🇩 Incredible wine from Fáutor Winery, Moldova, a not-so-well-known but with a long history wine country.
With an area of 112,000 ha of vines and around fifty grape varieties, Moldova historically has four regions: Valul lui Traian, south-west, Stefan Voda, south-east, Codru, center, as well as Balti, north. It’s a country with a very long history of winemaking, the first traces of grapes found to date from 2800 BC. Today, both autochthone and international varieties are cultivated.
“Fautor” which means Creator in English is one of the most important wineries in Moldova and has received many awards (the most awarded in the country in 2017, 2018, and 2019). The winery was founded at the end of the 20th century and is located in the southern part of Moldavia in Tighecia village which enjoys a wonderful climate to make wine.
Vinification & Maturation: The grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation took place in a vat under controlled temperature. The wine matures in new French barrels for 6 months.

70% Feteasca Neagră, 30% Rara Neagră, 14.5% ABV.
【👀To the eye】
Medium ruby with some garnet hints.
【👃Nose】
Pronounced aromas of black cherry, blueberry, blackberry, mulberry, dried herbs, violet and other blossoms, hint of vanilla, caramel and chocolate. Smells really good!
【👅Palate】
Pronounced aromas similar to the nose, the wine is incredibly fruity and flowery with a hint of oak notes. A long fruity and fresh / minty finish. Medium body, medium acidity, high alcohol, medium tannin.
Mouthfeel is very round, elegant, fresh, all the elements are in perfect balance, a good acidity combined with silky tannin, concentrated aromas, and a bit of sweetness on the tongue, just feels incredible on the palate overall.
【🍷 Conclusion】
Amazing wine from Moldova, fruity, velvety, silky, flowery, so fresh and elegant, highly recommended! Thankfully I’ve got a second bottle of this delicious wine in my cellar! I want to try more Moldovan wines now.
