【📝Brief intro】
🇦🇷 A wine from the end of the world, an exquisite high-altitude Malbec.
The three hectares of vineyard of Seclantas Adentro, a project of Virginia Hasenbalg and Ovidiu Corabianu, are 2,200 meters above sea level in the region of Salta in Northern Argentina. In Seclentas Adentro, there is no phone, no electricity, and no road, you need to drive several hours on track to get there.
The winemakers don’t use any chemical products, no pesticide, even no oak, it’s a natural wine, a real terroir wine.
Vinification: fermentation starts with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a temperature not exceeding 28 ° to 30 ° C. Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished, the skins are separated from the must and the malolactic fermentation is allowed to take place in a different tank. This Malbec does not see an ounce of wood during its aging.

Pronounced aromas of red cherry, blackcurrant, plum, dried plums, dried herbs, black olive, earth, violet, chocolate, and coffee.
【👅Palate】
Pronounced aromas similar to the nose, an explosion of fruits, floral aromas, spices and earth. Full body, medium acidity, high alcohol, medium+ tannin. Mouthfeel is very fresh and bright, tannins are soft, acidity is crispy, it’s full body and very round, the texture is velvety, the wine expresses an incredible complexity of concentrated aromas considering there is no oak maturation. It’s powerful, rustic and pleasant. Just splendid.
【🍷 Conclusion】
Simply an incredible Malbec, a pure expression of the variety with no oak, expressing a rustic high-altitude terroir character, earthy, floral, fruity, full of complexity, just magic. Keep tuned for the Tannat.
