【📝Brief intro】
🇧🇬 The estate @minkovbrothers is located in the plain of Thrace, in the heart of the Bulgarian region of Karnobat about 70 km west of the Black Sea. This area benefits from a long wine tradition spanning four centuries.
The Minkov Brothers property attaches great importance to the tradition. The name of the estate comes from the three brothers Ivan, Vasil and Nikifor Minkov who founded the estate in 1875. In the past, the brothers voluntarily focused on local grapes from Bulgaria. Quickly, they made a name for themselves in the country thanks to their excellent wines.
The international breakthrough was not to be long in coming either. In 1984, the estate won the legendary gold medal at the Brussels World Wine Fair. Usually, this award was always awarded to a French estate. Over time they have added to their vineyards international varieties.
Vinification & Maturation: The grapes come from the estate's vineyards and after the harvest, grapes are gently macerated so that the tannins, aromas and colors can be smoothly extracted. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 10 months in new French oak barrels before bottling.

Pronounced aromas of cassis, blueberry, blackcurrant, black plum, wild berries, chocolate, toast, black tea, nutmeg, hint of vanilla and caramel.

Pronounced aromas similar to the nose, very concentrated aromas of cassis and blueberry, black fruits combined with hints of spices and oak. Medium alcohol, medium body, medium tannin, medium+ acidity.
Mouthfeel is dry, juicy and fresh, with a crispy acidity, firm but well-integrated tannin, very concentrated aromas of black fruits combined with complex and delicate hints of spice. End in a long persistent finish.
【🍷 Conclusion】
Superb cabernet sauvignon, very fruit driven, delicately spicy, tastes just like a delicious fruit juice, it’s fresh, elegant, lively and crispy, a very good surprise!
