🇫🇷 Let’s continue our trip in Burgundy.
We visited the village of Pommard and the Château de Pommard. It was a wonderful visit.
The castle of Pommard is an 18th-century castle. The estate includes a 20-hectare “Château de Pommard” walled vineyard, French-style gardens and a vine and wine museum. It is located a few kilometers south of Beaune on the Grands Crus route of the Burgundy vineyard, in Pommard.
I must say that we were received in a fantastic way at the Chateau, the staff and the advisers were very kind. The place is beautiful, very well decorated, a real pleasure for the eyes.
Pommard wines have had the reputation in the past of being tannic, difficult to access in their youth, it was necessary to wait 10 years before drinking them, but I can tell you that all that has changed, the wines we drank were magnificent, deep, velvety, silky, with well-integrated tannins and acidity.

Something amazing is the fact that wines from plots that are only a few meters apart, but already have slightly different exposure and soils, taste completely different. It's quite magical actually.
Absolutely recommended if you are passing by.
