【📝概述】

【📝Brief intro】
🇫🇷 On the second day, we decided to go in the morning to Meursault to visit the castle of Meursault. The vineyard is spread over nearly 65 hectares, in the “climats” of Côte de Beaune sur Pommard, Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault.
Typical of Burgundy fragmentation, the vines are spread over more than 110 plots and are located within an average radius of 10 kilometers around the Château, the smallest counting only 10 ares and the largest 8 hectares. The castle is under renovation, given that in 2012, Olivier Halley bought the castle of Meursault and the castle of Marsannay and he decided to carry out renovations and improvements.
After visiting the facilities and the absolutely magnificent cellar, we were able to taste several wines from the estate:

All the wines were really good as you would expect, with a special mention for their white wines: Bourgogne Clos du Château 2020 made from the Chardonnay grapes which come from a plot next to the castle, ripe fruits, slightly woody, butter, pastry, it's fat with nice acidity, a very nice wine.
Les Charmes dessus Meursault Premier Cru, aromas of stone fruits, warm apple, white flowers, cream, butter, pastries, vanilla, smoke, supported by a nice structure, a good acidity, ending in an incredible length. The full package. It is still a bit shy on the nose, it should age beautifully.
